We have an immediate opening for a general laborer for our hydrovac services division.
A General Laborer will be required to perform a variety of manual tasks from simple to moderately difficult as assigned by his/her supervisor. A General Laborer must take direction well and follow instructions without deviation.
A General Laborer must be well organized, cooperative, detail oriented, and willing to learn. He/she must be able to work with others and communicate well. A General Laborer must be/become familiar with the methods, practices, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and safety procedures necessary to use in the course of working in a field services environment. A General Laborer must be able to operate hand and power tools and perform general housekeeping duties. A General Laborer will be required to work in an outdoor environment for extended periods of time and operate basic equipment. A General Laborer may be required to lift up to 50 pounds, sit, stand, squat, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and bend for extended periods of time in awkward positions in varying environments. A General Laborer must be willing and able to travel is required.
Experience in a field services environment is preferred. A General Laborer must have a strong work ethic, be flexible, and be a self-motivated individual who can work independently when required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A valid driver license and appropriate insurance are required. A General Laborer must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as well as pass a drug test.
This position is considered entry level with opportunities for advancement. The hours for this position will be determined by production requirements. This position is subject to a 90-day introductory period.
