Full Charge Bookkeeper

Pal-Con, Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and providing accurate and timely financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, possess excellent analytical skills, and be proficient in using software such as SAP and MS Office.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: - Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation - Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards - Adhere to financial policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and internal controls - Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure the company’s financial stability - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes as well as provide required financial documents as requested - Compile data for annual audits for the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations - Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies - Provide guidance and training on financial concepts and best practices as necessary - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in accounting standards and perform tasks as assigned/requested

Requirements include, but may not be limited to, the following: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification is a plus - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing setting - Strong knowledge of GAAP standards - Proficiency in using accounting software such as SAP or similar platforms - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
